2016 is winding down, and in this podcast, we discuss the best of what the year had to offer in film and television. Additionally, we talk about what performances by actors and actresses most stood out to us.

While 2016 had many hits, it also had some misses which we also talk about.

So from Rogue One to Sing Street, from Arrival to Manchester by the Sea, from Game of Thrones to Stranger Things, from Westworld to Mr. Robot...it is all part of our 2016 Year in Review.

After recording this episode, we learned about the death of Carrie Fisher, so we added some thoughts at the beginning of the show so that we could express our appreciation and discuss the legacy of Carrie Fisher.

As Westworld builds momentum towards the end of it's first season, it is no surprise that the penultimate episode would offer some major revelations.

In this podcast, we discuss the entire episode as well as the lingering questions left for the finale.

The Adversary, Westworld's 6th episode brings us secrets, clues, Easter Eggs, and a terrific sequence with Maeve going backstage to see how the hosts are made.

We got some of our biggest signals yet of dual timelines at play in the story, but is it possible that there are more?

In this podcast we theorize that maybe Bernard is a bit more complicated than her appears, and maybe appearing in multiple timelines.

Sweet Christmas!

Luke Cage continues Marvel's run of quality shows on Netflix. It addresses head on, many social issues that we face in American society daily, from racial perceptions, the role of police and how media can drive its own narrative.

Even though it doesn't shy away from serious issues, the show still manages to have fun along the way with a style all its own. And...let's not forget the incredible music.

In this episode we talk about the ups and downs of the first season. Let us know your thoughts on Facebook and Twitter @nerdflixchill

The Walking Dead has finally aired the premiere episode for it's 7th season, "The Day Will Come When You Won't Be." The ill-conceived cliffhanger from season 6 was resolved....and we just didn't like it at all.

Truth be told, the downward spiral of this show has been years in the making with it's formulaic plotting and circular narrative. The show runners seem content to drag this out with no endgame in sight, and we are over it.

In this episode we lay out all of our criticisms of this once enjoyable show.
