Now This is Podcasting! In the months leading up to the release of Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi, we have decided to revisit all of the films in the Star Wars saga.

This series will be reviews/discussions of the films, how they fit into the overall story and our experiences seeing them when they came out.

We are going in episode order, so we are leading off with The Phantom Menace. 18 years after it's release we discuss what worked, what didn't and whether or not there is actually a decent story somewhere to be found in this film.

The final Defender has arrived. Iron Fist dropped on Netflix and was looking to build upon Marvel's recent Netflix successes: Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage.

Unfortunately, it was a train wreck. Iron Fist has issues with writing, story, acting and Finn Jones.

This podcast is not so much a review of Iron Fist, but rather a rant on all that went wrong. Does Iron Fist make you worry about The Defenders?

King Kong is back on the big screen and protecting his turf on Skull Island. There is no New York City and no Empire State Building in this film. Instead, we spend time exploring the dangers of Kong's homeland.

In this podcast, we give our full review of the film which turns into a good spirited debate as we had very opposite reactions to the film. We also discuss the origins of monster movies and their cultural relevance.

What did you think of Kong: Skull Island?

It's time to get back into one of our favorite topics, Game of Thrones. This week we learned the Season 7 premiere date and got a brief teaser featuring the different house sigils.

Also, Kari was able to attend the Game of Thrones Concert Experience and offers her insight into this incredible concert tour.

Logan is Hugh Jackman's final appearance as Wolverine. Since 2000, we have seen 3 different actors play The Hulk, 3 different actors play Spider Man, and 3 different actors play Batman, but there has only been 1 Wolverine.

This film represents a much different style and tone than the other films in the X Men cinematic universe. It's dark, unapologetic and goes places where most films in this genre wouldn't dare.

In this podcast, we give our full review of Logan.

Split is the latest film from M Night Shyamalan. It stars James McAvoy as a man with 23 distinct personalities. When we first heard about the film, we were reluctant to see it, for various reasons; however, once we did...whoa!

This film is a return to form for Shyamalan, as it is evocative of his earlier work. And if you are a fan of his earlier films, this is not to be missed.

In this podcast, we geek out over a film that took us by surprise. Enjoy our full review of Split.
