Two MCU items to discuss in this week's Nerd Flix & Chill podcast. We have the season 2 and possible series finale of Loki, and w ewill also give our thoughts on The Marvels.
Loki's fourth episode of season two was a jaw-dropping, dark romp that ends in a cliff-hanger. In this Nerd Flix & Chill podcast we share our thoughts on the episode. We also discuss a recent article about what is happening behind the scenes at Marvel.
In this Nerd Flix & Chill podcast we discuss episodes 2 and 3 of Loki, which continues to provide some really immersive storytelling. We also talk about Netflix's new series from Mike Flanagan, The Fall of the House of Usher, which is fantastic.
It's been a few weeks but we are finally back and we have a lot to talk about. In this Nerd Flix & Chill podcast we talk about what we loved about The Wheel of Time season two, how Ashoka didn't really work for us and the very strong start for Loki.
The Wheel of Time is finally back. After a promising first season that faced some major late-season COVID related struggles, the adaptation of Robert Jordan's beloved series is back. The first four episodes are out and they are very strong.
Ashoka continues to improve from week to week and the fourth episode might be the strongest yet.
In this Nerd Flix & Chill podcast, we discuss episodes 1-4 of The Wheel of Time, season two and episode four of Ashoka.
"Ashoka," has arrived on Disney+ and the first three episodes have given us a lot to talk about. In this Nerd Flix & Chill podcast we discuss the show's rocky start, and potential bright spots.
Its been a few weeks but now we have both finally seen Barbie and it is time to talk about it. In this Nerd Flix & Chill podcast we give our thoughts on the film as well as chat about the upcoming Ashoka series on Disney+.
Thanks for listening and enjoy the show.
Its been a few weeks but we are finally back with a new podcast. A lot to talk about from Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, whatever happened with Secret Invasion and new trailers for Loki and The Wheel of Time.
We hope you enjoy the show.
Secret Invasions is the latest Marvel series to debut on Disney+, though you may not have noticed because the marketing of the show was fairly minimal.
Regardless, in this Nerd Flix & Chill podcast, we discuss the somewhat rocky first episode and share our thoughts on the AI-generated title sequence.
It's been a couple weeks, but we are finally back with our Guardians of the Galaxy review. As big fans of the original film we were both very excited to see how this film would close out the trilogy. There is a lot of movie to discuss and we are here to break it all down. We hope you enjoy the podcast.
The Mandalorian ended it's third season with a finale that had a few great moments but also felt unsatisfying and messy. Subplots were rushed through, some story threads were abandoned and ultimately, we land at the question of what was this season all for?
In this podcast we recap the finale and talk about where this story is heading.
Lots to talk about in this weeks podcast. We have the very strong Chapter 23 of, "The Mandalorian," as well as a bunch of news from Star Wars Celebration. Three new Star Wars films are coming our way and we cannot wait.
We discuss all of that as well as the new Harry Potter series announced for HBO Max, or just Max, or whatever it is going to be called.
The Mandalorian's third season continues to be a mixed bag. Some of it is great and a lot of fun, but some of it also leaves us wanting something more.
Chapters 21 and 22 are a great example of this. There is some sci-fi world-building, some interesting storytelling, but also rushed resolutions and story that doesn't scale.
In this podcast we recap what we loved and what we didn't about both episode.
This week's episode of, "The Mandalorian," offered a bird attack and a big reveal. While the first few episodes had some ups and downs, this episode really turned out to be a lot of fun, and we could not be happier for the actor who had a wonderful cameo.
In this Nerd Flix & Chill podcast, we discuss the episode as well as what we are seeing in the news for Star Wars films that may or may not be coming.
"The Last of Us," season finale was an intense bit of storytelling that really delivered.
"The Mandalorian," has had some ups and downs this season, but the second and third episodes were improvements over the first.
In this Nerd Flix & Chill podcast we breakdown the finale of, "The Last of Us," and episodes 2 and 3 of "The Mandalorian."
Lots to talk about in this podcast. We have the return of, "The Mandalorian," which we were not too high on. But, we also have, "The Last of Us," episodes 7 and 8 which we both loved. We hope you enjoy the discussion.
The Last of Us continues to deliver great storytelling, but we were both less impressed with Ant Man and The Wasp: Quantumania.
In this Nerd Flix & Chill podcast, we discuss out thoughts on both.
We had some concerns that, "The Last of Us," could be drifting into, "Walking Dead," territory in episode four, by introducing a subplot that we thought could bog down the show. Boy, are we glad to be wrong.
Episode five is stellar. It reveals more about who Joel and Ellie are and the inner conflicts that they both face.
In this Nerd Flix & Chill podcast, we recap the episode.
The fourth episode of "The Last of Us," gave us some much needed development of Joel and Ellie's relationship. While that was a great aspect of this episode, the Kansas City QZ subplot gave us some serious, "Walking Dead," vibes and not in a good way.
In this podcast, we share our thoughts on the episode.
The 3rd episode of, "The Last of Us," is an incredible piece of storytelling. It is about 2 people who find a fairytale in a hell-scape. It is deeply moving and very impactful.
In this Nerd Flix & Chill podcast, we recap the episode.

The second episode of, "The Last of Us," continues on the excellent world-building and efficient storytelling that started in the premiere episode. The series also features some wonderful practical creature design and hauntingly beautiful production design. All of the elements of this show are delivering. In this Nerd Flix & Chill podcast we discuss episode 2, "Infected."

This week's Nerd Flix & Chill podcast seems to be all about Pedro Pascal. We have the trailer for season three of, "The Mandalorian," to discuss. We also have the premiere episode of, "The Last of Us," to recap. No complaints here as these are both shows that leave us a lot to talk about.
We hope you enjoy the podcast.

"Andor," delivered big in it's first season finale. "Bix Road," was a master class in building tension and paying off moments in the story. There is a lot to discuss in this episode and in this Nerd Flix & Chill podcast, we break down the episode. We discuss the parallels between Maarva and Leia using droids to deliver critical messages of rebellion, and how a show that makes no mention of 'The Force,' or 'Jedi,' can actually enhance the mystique of both. This conversation was a lot of fun and we cannot wait for season 2.

Lots to talk about in this week's Nerd Flix & Chill podcast. We have episodes 10 and 11 of "Andor," which is becoming, with each passing week, the new standard of storytelling in the "Star Wars," universe.
We also have our thoughts on "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever," a film that had so much to say about grief and loss, while also having to exist as a superhero film in a large shared universe.
We hope you enjoy the show.
