Game of Thrones released a jaw-dropping 2nd trailer for it's upcoming seventh season. We hear Littlefinger trying to manipulate Sansa, Jon trying to build consensus and Sansa reciting some of her father's words. All of this paired with the incredible music of Ramin Djawadi.

This trailer also teases many upcoming conflicts including a major scene north of the wall, a battle on the sea, and Jamie leading Lannister forces against the Dothraki.

In this podcast, we give our full breakdown of the Game of Thrones Season 7 Trailer #2 and speculate as to what might happen with Jon Snow, Daenerys, Tyrion, Jamie and all of our favorite characters.

As we continue down the road to The Last Jedi, we continue our Star Wars Revisited Series with Rogue One.

We initially recorded our review of Rogue One in December right out of the theater. It is now several months later, and we wanted to dive back into Rogue One to see if it still held up to our original viewing.

Wonder Woman has finally arrived on the big screen in her first solo feature film!

With the DC Cinematic Universe struggling after Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad, there were many that were skeptical if the Amazonian Princess could save the day for DC. In addition to that pressure, the film also needs to establish Wonder Woman as a transcendent figure, that could equal the other two members of the DC Trinity, Batman and Superman.

All of that pressure is a lot for film, but Patty Jenkins, Gal Gadot and Chris Pine were ready to take on the challenge.

In this podcast, we give you our full review of Wonder Woman.

American Gods is five episodes into its first season, and we wanted to talk about it. It's based on the book of the same name written by Neil Gaiman.

It's a story of mythological gods who actually walk among us in modern day America. They are losing power as people no longer believe in them, all the while newer "gods" are on the rise.

Its a show that is dazzling and bold; it demands to be seen. In this podcast we talk about the first 5 episodes of the season, and some of the deeper meanings of this story.

In this podcast we continue our Star Wars Revisited series with a discussion on Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

This was the Star Wars filmed that promised to fill in all the gaps and answer all of our lingering questions while promising the epic, Battle of the Heroes between Obi Wan and Anakin.

But did Lucas fulfill his promise? Did he end the prequel trilogy on a high note? Or was it another prequel disaster.

We recently published a podcast on Joseph Campbell’s Hero Monomyth and how it applied to the new Star Wars trilogy and Game of Thrones. In the weeks since, we have been wondering about the villains.

Is there such a thing as the Villain’s Journey? Do Darth Vader, Sauron, Voldemort, Kylo Ren, Cersei and the White Walkers all have a similar story?

In this podcast we discuss whether or not there is a Villain Monomyth or if they archetypal creations that are only in the story to be overcome by the hero. We also talk about what makes a great villain and if there has ever been a pure villain perspective in film.

Our Star Wars Revisited series continues with Episode II: Attack of the Clones. In 2002, Clones hit theaters just a few months after Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring and just a few weeks after Spider-Man. This put the film in a tough spot, especially when you factor in a newly skeptical fan base.

This is also the films that brought Hayden Christensen into the series in the pivotal role of Anakin. Could he live up to the expectations?

In this episode we give a full review of the film including the many costumes of Padme.

The final Defender has arrived. Iron Fist dropped on Netflix and was looking to build upon Marvel's recent Netflix successes: Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage.

Unfortunately, it was a train wreck. Iron Fist has issues with writing, story, acting and Finn Jones.

Logan is Hugh Jackman's final appearance as Wolverine. Since 2000, we have seen 3 different actors play The Hulk, 3 different actors play Spider Man, and 3 different actors play Batman, but there has only been 1 Wolverine.

This film represents a much different style and tone than the other films in the X Men cinematic universe. It's dark, unapologetic and goes places where most films in this genre wouldn't dare.

In this podcast, we give our full review of Logan.

The Hero's Journey is a phrase we are all familiar with, but what does it really mean? It's become a term that we often take for granted when we talk about some of our favorite films, books and television shows.

In this podcast, we explore how the Hero's Journey is evident in some of our favorite films and television shows. From Game of Thrones to Star Wars to Harry Potter, with a little Lord of the Rings mixed in, we hope you enjoy our discussion.

But now, Bats is back...and it's time to answer the big questions: Is Lego Batman worthy of carrying on the legacy? Is the Caped Crusader back and as good as ever?
